The M3 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championships is one of the most exciting events of the year for fans of the popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game. The future event will kick off on December 6, 2021, and run until the 19th of the same month. There will be 16 teams vying for what the tournament’s organizers are calling the largest cash purse ever offered at a Mobile Legends competition.
More information on the M3 is being released as the tournament approaches. Let’s go into greater depth in this blog post.
The M3 MLBB World Championship 2021 Details
On December 6, the preliminary round of the M3 tournament will get underway. Each club will face off against the other teams in their group once during this round. On December 9th, it will be over. Playoffs will start on December 11 and end on the 18th, immediately following the Group Stage. Teams’ placements in the Group Stage will determine their eligibility for this round.
On December 19, 2021, the M3 championship will be decided. This is essentially a two-week tournament with the largest cash prize ever awarded at an MLBB tournament at stake. The M3 has a prize pool of $800,000. When compared to M2’s prize fund of $200,000, this was a significant increase. The first place prize is $300,000 and the second place prize is $120,000. The fourth-place finisher will receive $55,000, while third-place will receive $80,000.
The M3’s high prize pool is great since it allows for consolation rewards to be awarded to teams that don’t place. The fifth and sixth place teams will receive $40,000, and the seventh and eighth place teams will receive $30,000. Nine through twelve place teams will receive $15,000, thirteen through sixteen place teams will receive $10,000. Whether or not their team wins, they will all receive a prize. Naturally, it would be preferable to make it to the championship and compete for the massive prize pool.
The M3 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Tournament Venue
Due of the COVID-19 outbreak, the M2 had to be relocated from Indonesia to Singapore. Singapore will once again play host to the M3. Lucas Mao, the MLBB’s Managing Director of Esports, is looking forward to returning to Singapore for the competition. He emphasized the team’s collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board and other government agencies. They guaranteed that everyone who attended would have a “safe and welcoming experience.” This means that everyone involved in the tournament may relax and focus solely on the competition.
M3 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championship Teams
Compared to M2, which included 12 teams, M3 features 16 teams once again. More regions will be represented in this event than in the previous year, which is good news for MLBB followers. Singaporean, Filipino, Indonesian, Cambodian, and Malaysian squads are still present.
There will be two Brazilian teams, in addition to the one already announced from Brazil and another from Russia. There will be a delegate from Turkey, as well as the return of the American. Two new regions are set to join the competition: Latin America and the Middle East. In M3, fans may look forward to seeing new teams, and possibly also new gameplay methods and mechanics. People might also anticipate the crowning of a new champion.
