How to Apply for the PMAY Scheme?
Follow the below steps to apply for the PMAY scheme:
- Visit the official government website and click on the ‘Citizen Assessment’ option.
- From there, you will need to enter your Aadhaar number and all relevant personal and income details.
- Be sure to recheck all information before submission to avoid any mistakes.
- Once you have submitted your application, you’ll receive a unique application number, and you can download the filled-in application form.
- To complete the process, you must deposit the form at the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) office or a financial institution that offers PMAY.
- You will also need to submit all necessary documents, such as income proof, address proof, and identity proof.

For salaried applicants, the following documents are required:

Self-employed applicants need to have the same document as mentioned above. However, they must have their address, proof of business and Income proof (such as ITR).
